Microsoft have announced they will be hosting a hardware and software event in New York City on May 2.
Some believe that the event will reveal the hardware design for Project Scorpio, but it’s unlikely due to E3 taking place in June. Some also believe there could be a successor to the Surface 3, but sources for The Verge have said to not expect a Surface Phone or new Surface Pro device. We also haven’t seen or heard anything about the Hololens in outside of the Development Edition and Commercial Suite versions, so that isn’t off the table.
We’ll find out on May 2.
