While we often hear about mods that make an old game new again with added features, improved graphics, or just really random stuff, we don’t often take a look at mods involving existing hardware.
A modder on YouTube who goes by GmanModz has unveiled what he calls the 2DC. This is a portable Sega Dreamcast that uses an existing Dreamcast motherboard and puts it into the shell of a 2DS with some custom work on the side panels using a 3D printer.
While it doesn’t go into exact detail on how to do this step by step, it does give an overview of all the things that made it functional and looking amazing.
