Mosaic Esports Director of Players Comments On “Mosaic” Failure

After a very chaotic day for Mosaic Esports, Alexandre SanALex Simõestook, the team’s Director of Players, took to TwitLonger to issue a statement on the team’s future. SanALex said that their CEO and only investor has abruptly quit and all the players and staff will be creating a new team to finish out the remainder of Overwatch Contenders.

I believe khamel statement was totally misunderstood on reddit, nobody is rebuilding Mosaic company or name. This company had one and only investor (Our CEO) and he quit.
The staff and players got together and will create a team to compete in the remaining games of contenders. Understandably, no player or staff wanted to represent a name they don’t identify themselves with, so we will be changing to a random name of their choice and stay together until the end of this season.

The entire ordeal started early yesterday morning when both eMil and Vallutaja abruptly left the organization within minutes of each other. Vallutaja even went one step further by claiming Mosaic Esports CEO Dr. Brandon Kim owed $20,000 to players and staff. This ultimately led the company to release a statement several hours later saying the Mosaic over promised and under delivered to everyone with their COO taken full responsibility.
