Nintendo 3DS Passes 23 Million Units Sold In Japan

According to the latest Media Create sales charts, the Nintendo 3DS has surpassed the 23 million mark in the number of units sold in Japan. As of July 30, a total of 23,097,151 units have been sold within the country with 142,600 units sold last week.

Part of this surge is believed to be in major part to the release of Dragon Quest XI which sold 950,000 copies in the first two days in the country.
