It seems we could see an official announcement for a Nintendo 64 Classic Edition soon as J-PlatPat discovered that Nintendo have applied for a “N64” trademark within Japan. This would be used for a video game program, controller for game machine, joystick for video game machine, TV game machine.
Rumors of an N64 Mini surfaced last September when Nintendo filed a trademark the N64 controller which had its opposition period end earlier today. Later in August, Nintendo of Europe listed 19 Nintendo 64 game manuals online hinting that this N64 Mini would include 19 games built-in.
