According to SuperData, the Nintendo Switch sold 1.5 million units worldwide since its launch on March 3. The market research company notes that 500,000 were sold in the United States, 360,000 in Japan, 85,000 in the U.K., 110,000 in France, and the rest in Europe.
It’s also reported that 89% of those who purchased the Switch also purchased The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This equates to 1.34 million copies sold and that number does not include the Wii U version.
Nintendo have stated they would like to sell 2 million units by the end of March and based on these numbers they could very easily accomplish this.
