GBATemp user KiiWii posted on the site that after datamining the Playstation 4 port of PaRappa, he discovered that it uses a built-in PSP emulator to run the game and not a new code.
Since this discovery, users have posted images showing Patapon, Namco Museum, and a PSP dev kit test app reportedly running via the Playstation 4. Even KiiWii himself showed that he was able to run Loco Roco running on the PS4 using this “PSPHD” emulator.
This has led to many hackers attempting to acquire several games on the PSP to see if new discoveries can be found within the code using the emulator.
