Overwhelming Major Of Developers Believe Steam Do Not Earn 30% Split

Thanks to the new 2021 GDC State of the Game Industry survey, more developers than before believe that Steam have not earned their 30/70 split to release their games on the platform.

While last year only saw 6% developers believing they earned their royalty, it dropped even lower to 3% this year.

Steam still have not budged on their royalties despite other platforms such as Google Play and The Epic Games Store taking half with 15% and 12% respectively.
