PoodleCorp Claims Responsibility For Pokemon Go DDOS Attacks

Many Pokémon Go players in South Africa noticed that the Pokémon Go servers were down for most players in the country over the weekend. According to reports by GearNuke, the country was hit by DDOS attacks by a hacking group named PoodleCorp as the group claimed responsibility for the attacks.

YouTube channel Drama Alert had an interview with a member of PoodleCorp who goes by the alias Axo-0 who said they did it “Because we can, chaos is entertainment. We like to piss people off because we can.” Axo-0 also said the group were behind the attacks and said they did it “just for fun.” You can view the entire interview down below…
