Report: Four Overwatch League Spots Purchased

According to a report by ESPN, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and New York Mets owner Fred Wilpon have each purchased spots in the Overwatch League. Others have have purchased slots include NRG Esports and Immortals.

ESPN stats that NRG Esports will set up shop in San Francisco, while Immortals will be in Los Angeles. Kraft Sports Group, parent company of the New England Patriots, will be based out of Boston, and Wilpon’s team will be in New York City.

Both Immortals and NRG Esports have reportedly paid $20 million per Overwatch League spot and will be paid over an undisclosed time. Kraft and Wilpon’s agreements are unknown at this time.
