Report: Snapchat To Enter Games Industry

According to a report be Reuters, Snapchat could be entering the games industry in some fashion. The company is looking to gaming as a source to help bolster the company’s revenue and bottom line.

This comes after 10% of Snap Inc. was acquired by Tencent who also own equity stakes in some video game studios. This includes Riot Games, Epic Games, and Supercell.

While it is unclear at this time what the future holds, Snap Inc. have said they are looking forward to sharing “ideas and experiences” with Tencent in the future.
