According to sources for The Esports Observer, several organizations have been having meetings with Riot Games with the latter discussing their esport plans for Valorant.
While these organizations had to sign non-disclosure agreements, many have predicted that Riot Games will let this scene grow organically for the first couple of years and put on some smaller tournaments alongside other independent ones much like how CS:GO operates and Overwatch did prior to the Overwatch League.
Riot Games declined to comment.
