According to anonymous sources for The Esports Observer, Activision Blizzard are loosening their restrictions regarding liquor and betting sponsorships. These changes would allow individual teams to be sponsored by companies within these industries.
Speculation started to spread after the Call of Duty team London Royal Ravens announced a sponsorship deal with wagering site Midnite.
Activision Blizzard have not made an official statement regarding the matter.
