One of the key elements in the Crackdown series has been online play and it shouldn’t be any surprise that Crackdown 3 will also have a huge focus on this as well. With claims of a destructible city supported by Microsoft’s Azure cloud service, many have wondered just how it will top that. Well now it seems like it will be possible to support up to 99 players on Xbox Live as stated on the game’s official store page.
Of course this could very well be a placeholder, so we’re putting this under the rumor category and neither Microsoft, Cloudgine, or Sumo Digital have confirmed this report.
