According to to Twitch streamer MetroOW, development on Blizzard’s anticipated Overwatch 2 has been very slow and will likely be delayed.
Metro said there will not be new heroes coming to the first Overwatch title and Blizzard will likely show some new characters at BlizzCon and maybe some multiplayer, but he was not 100% confident in the latter.
While it’s easy to dismiss Metro, he was also the one who leaked that Overwatch 2 as in development. At the time of publishing Blizzard have not commented on the matter.
