According to Destructoid’s former editor-in-chief Jonathan Holmes, some GameStop managers were part of a “behind closed doors” meeting about the SNES Mini.
Holmes spoke with three GameStop managers, who all remained anonymous, mentioning that it could “drop this holiday.” One of the sources said “Yes, there is going to be a SNES Classic. No, it does not have a release date.”
Please keep in mind this is still a rumor and Nintendo have not confirmed an SNES Classic Edition to the public.
