Several people on the internet have noticed that a countdown timer has surfaced on the official Duke Nukem website. There is also a Twitter handle ,@DukeNukemGame, that has surfaced on the popular social media site as well.
The countdown clock ends during PAX West where Gearbox is scheduled to host a panel promising “never-before-seen reveals, exclusives, and surprises”. This has led some to believe that a new Duke Nukem game will be announced while others believe that it could be a remastered version of the original game as this year is the 20th anniversary of Duke Nukem.
