There is a rumor quickly making the rounds that Warner Bros. Interactive are working on an RPG centered around the world of Harry Potter. This comes after a listing on their careers page showed Avalanche Studios are looking for a Senior Game Writer with a“deep understanding of British culture.” Avalanche Studios is owned by Warner Bros. Interactive.
While NBCUniversal now owns the rights to Harry Potter ,Warner Bros. Interactive still own the video game rights for Harry Potter and the Fantastic Beasts franchises.
Please keep in mind this is still a rumor and nothing has been confirmed by Avalanche Studios or Warner Bros. Interactive. The reason why many believe this could be related to Harry Potter is the specific requirement of the “deep understanding of British culture.”
