Sega have announced they have acquired Two Point Studios. This makes the studio the first to be acquired from Sega Europe’s Searchlight program.
Gary Dale, President and COO of Sega Europe, said in the press release:
“We’re delighted to welcome Two Point Studios officially in to the Sega family. As a relatively new, British-based developer with a global hit already under their belts, we knew we had to move quickly on this deal because they are an extremely attractive investment proposition with a great deal of talent.”
Despite only being around since 2016, Two Point Studios released a spiritual successor to Theme Hospital titled Two Point Studios which received positive reviews when it initially released last year.
