Shenmue 3 Hits $7 Million Stretch Goal

Ys Net have revealed that the highly anticipated game Shenmue III has reached a stretch goal of $7 million. The number combines both Kickstarter and Slacker Backer.

With this stretch goal reached, the game will now have ‘Battle System Expanded: AI Battling’. This is to help players who might not play fighting games learn the game’s combat mode. The post states:

“This control system lets you automatically unleash the perfect technique in response to the opponent’s positioning and distance. R&D for this system is based on Yu Suzuki’s concept for players who are not used to fighting games or for those who want a full immersion battle experience. This battle system is highly compatible with, and will be an extension to the current battle system.”

Shenmue III releases in 2019 for PC and Playstation 4.
