Sonic R is no surprise to us here at Gaming Conviction. Heck, the first Gaming Graveyard was about this very game. Nevertheless, it still has a speedrunning community and today a World Record was broken.
Keverage broke the World Record for Sonic R under the 100% No Oob (Out of Bounds) category. Keverage did it with a record time of 11 minutes 59 seconds 900 milliseconds. This beats the previous world record held by Daily and his time of 12 minutes 00 seconds 860 milliseconds. Talk about a nail biter. Kleavage also hold the record under the regular 100% time as well.
