If you own a Nintendo 3DS and want something to help with your classic game itch then we have some great news for you. Sega has announced an official release date for Sonic The Hedgehog 2 as part of its 3D Classics line.
The game will be available on October 8 and will be a Nintendo eShop exclusive in North America.
One of the key things being added will be the option of multiplayer if 2 or more people own the game. They will be allowed to play the game in co-op mode. Match Play will also be available through local multiplayer as well as a save feature and stereoscopic 3D.
No official price has been set at this time, but it is expected to be priced at $5.99.
