It seems that Sony Interactive Entertainment are considering acquiring some studios to their portfolio. This comes as their President and CEO Jim Ryan told Nihon Keizai Shimbun in an interview they were considering some unnamed studios.
Ryan said in the interview:
“Companies new to the games industry looking at the market with hope is something we definitely welcome. Sony Interactive Entertainment has 25 years of experience in the games industry and has big assets.”
