Spillsjappa Says NES Classic Edition Has Ended Production

Take this with a grain of salt, but Norwegian retailer Spillsjappa have stated on their official Facebook page that Nintendo will be stopping production of the NES Classic Edition. The company has noted that Nintendo will be distributing them in March and April, and “then it’s over”.

A Swedish retailer has also taken to NeoGAF to say they have been notified by their Nordic distributor Bergsala has also informed them production will be ending as well.

Please keep in mind that Nintendo have not commented on the matter so it should be taken as a rumor.
