Splinter Cell Remake Announced

Ubisoft and Ubisoft Toronto have announced they are remaking Splinter Cell. This remake will be built using the Snowdrop engine which is also currently being used for their upcoming Star Wars title.

The Splinter Cell series has been on a hiatus for quite some time with the last game in the franchise being Spliter Cell: Blacklist which released back in 2013. Also as a fun bit of information, Gaming Conviction’s name was inspired by the 2010 title Splinter Cell: Conviction.

No release date or consoles have been announced. You can view the announcement trailer down below:
