Marty “Lazerchicken” Strenczewilk, CEO of Splyce, announced they are dropping their CS:GO roster and folding that division of the organization. The organization will now focus on their other rosters including Halo, Call of Duty, Rocket League, and League of Legends.
Despite being around for more than four years, Splyce are a low-tier team within CS:GO and some believe that part of the reason for disbandment is due to the lack of star players in North America. Some are also speculating that OverActive Media Group may have influenced the decision after they invested $1.5 million into the organization.
Kory “semphis” Friesen, David “DAVEY” Stafford, Steven “reltuC” Cutler, Taylor “Drone” Johnson, Zechrie “XotiC” Elshani, and coach Zachary “Eley” Stauffer are now free agents and are looking for teams.
