Earlier today speedrunner Albrecht set a new world record for the popular 1996 SNES game Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Albrecht completed the game in just 2 hours 48 minutes 43 seconds. This run was done under the Any% category and beats the previous world record of 2 hours 49 minutes 41 seconds held by Millnium.
