The Nintendo Switch has passed a major milestone as according to the latest hardware sales from Famitsu, the Switch and Switch Lite together have now sold more units that the Wii did within Japan. Switch sales have surpassed 12.81 million units in Japan compared to the 12.77 million units the Wii sold.
Switch had an extremely successful week in Japan selling a combined 392,000 units which was led by the launch of Animal Crossing: New Horizons which sold over 1.8 million copies within the country.
