Bandai Namco have announced that their upcoming game Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycorsis has been delayed. The game had been scheduled for release in late May, but will now release on July 9 in Japan and July 10 in the West.
According to producer Yosuke Futami, the reason for the delay is due to the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic.
Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycorsis is in development for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC via Steam.
