According to Reuters, Tencent Holdings will be acquiring Sumo Group for a reported $1.27 billion. This will see Tencent acquire several video games studios under the Sumo Digital, Atomhawk, Pipeworks Studios, and Secret Mode brands.
Tecent previously owned 8.75% equity in Sumo Group prior to this acquisition.
