The Toronto Defiant have announced they have signed Dong-gun “KDG“ Kim as their new head coach.
KDG started his coaching career way back in March 2018 for Mosaic Esports. He then went on to start the team 6nakes after many of the Mosaic Esports roster was left out to dry by the owner and investors.
After a showing in Contenders Europe, he joined the Seoul Dynasty as a member of the coaching staff which saw some impressive runs in the playoffs. KDG most recently acted as the head coach of the Philadelphia Fusion who finished 2nd in the regular season and 4th in the Playoffs.
