Major news in the world of gaming peripherals as Turtle Beach have announced they have acquired PC peripheral company Roccat for a reported $14.8 million. This will be in the form of $3.4 million in earnout payments and a $1 million option in either cash or stock.
Juergen Stark, CEO of Turtle Beach, said in the press release:
“This is a dynamic and strategically important deal for Turtle Beach. We are adding a complementary portfolio of PC gaming mice and keyboards, a skilled PC accessories team, and a highly synergistic distribution footprint.”
This acquisition is in part due to Turtle Beach’s goal of reaching a worth of $100 million in the PC peripheral market and is expecting revenue from Roccat products to reach $30 million by the end of 2020.
