First reported by Reuters, gaming peripheral company Turtle Beach have told investors they are exploring a potential buyout. A letter sent out to investors said:
“Based on that outreach, we signed 10 (non disclosure agreements) and held 9 management meetings.”
Anonymous sources for the outlet revealed they have already received calls from buyers in both the financial and strategic industries.
Turtle Beach are also experiencing difficulties with hedge fund Donerail Group who are reportedly attempting to oust all the current board members at Turtle Beach including CEO Juergen Stark.
It’s unknown if a buyout goes through if this would also effect Roccat which were acquired by Turtle Beach back in June 2019 for $14.8 million.
