Twitch’s Boost Train Disabled Due To Adult Content

Not to long ago Twitch introduces something called Boost Train which would allow viewers to promote streamers to a larger audience by using bits and purchasing subs for a streamer. However, it seems that this went downhill very fast.

Some trolls across the internet decided to use this on some streams that decided to stream adult content on the streaming platform with some even reaching viewer’s recommended lists. Needless to say, the trolls kept going for several hours before Twitch decided to disable the experiment for the time being.

Boost Train has been heavily criticized by both streamers and viewers on Twitch with many believing that this is essentially a “pay for promo” promotion which could see very little return on the growth of a channel. Others do not like this is suppose to combat the Hype Train
