Sad news out of Japan as voice actress Hiromi Tsuru has died at the age of 57 due to aortic dissection.
Tsuru was found unconscious by police with the seat belt fastened in the driver’s seat of a car. She was pulled over on the side of the road with her hazard lights on at the Shuto Expressway’s Inner Circular Route in Tokyo’s Chūō ward. Police found no signs of an accident, leading them to believe it was a medical issue. She was taken to the hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Hiromi Tsuru is most known as the Japanese voice of Bulma in the Dragonball franchise. Gamers might know her for her roles in Devil’s Third, Ninja Gaiden 2, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriot, and Yakuza 0.
