Microsoft has revealed that they are planning on releasing a 500GB hard drive for Xbox 360 in the near future and are already taking pre-orders.
This hard drive will costs $109.99 in the States, which means that the 320GB hard drive (currently $129.99) will have a price decrease.
Now I know some of you are thinking why they are releasing this when Xbox One has been out for almost a year now. Xbox Chief Marketing Officer Yusef Mehdi had this to say…
“If you look at Xbox 360 that platform has lasted for seven to eight years and it’s going to go for another three years. We are going to continue to invest in Xbox 360 and the two devices can work in concert. In fact, we are going to ship over 100 new games on Xbox 360, so you will still be able to play your games, just not on the same exact box.”
