There has been much discussion regarding Xbox One X ever since it was announced under its codename Project Scorpio. The latest question has been whether or not it will feature a “Boost Mode” like the Playstation 4 Pro.
This led to Mike Ybarra, corporate VP of Xbox and Windows gaming, to go on Twitter to confirm the console will have no such thing.
There isn’t a “boost mode” – it’s always allowing games to use the full HW. Older games will be better, etc.
