Last week we learned that the New York Excelsior Overwatch Contenders team will be known as XL2 Academy. Now we’ve learned who the roster will consist of.
The XL2 Academy roster consists of Liam “Mangachu” Campbell (Renegades), Jeong “Nenne” Yeon-kwan (Lunatic-Hai), Mike “Midnight” Ryan (Rise Nation), James “Cloneman” D’Arcangelo (Rocket Esports), Anthony “Goliath” Pietro (Evil Geniuses), and Adam Eckel (Cloud9). This means that four of these players are from the United States, one from South Korea, and one from Canada.

The taem’s first match will take place on March 11 where they’ll face Toronto Esports.
